Flotation tires of Alliance are renowned for their outstanding performance and effective soil protection. The innovative 380 VF AGRITRANSPORT, however, that is on display in size 600/55R26.5 VF at this year’s REIFEN fair in Essen even tops these well-known superior characteristics.

The Very High Flexion technology allows presenting a flotation radial tire that offers a 40% higher load capacity at the standard air pressure, or the same load capacity at a 30% lower inflation pressure when compared to standard tires. With slurry tankers and dump trailers used for carrying silage for example growing bigger and bigger, even tandem or Tridem axle units do not offer sufficiently large footprints any longer. That is where Alliance as world leader in flotation tires offers the solution: Heavy loads which are supported on a large ground contact area by 380 VF tires can be handled without causing excessive soil pressure or compaction.

 

Features and benefits

Due to the low rolling resistance of the steel belt construction, flotation tires allow for lower fuel consumption. In addition to reduced trips to and back from the field due to high load carrying capacities, this enables highly efficient operations along with effective protection of plant cover and soil. At the same time, the steel belt of the 380 VF AGRITRANSPORT ensures a convincing puncture protection.
